A --config option would be great. I'm not sure what you contemplate for #inclusion, but if 1) --config allows multiple files to be specified, or 2) if a site-specific config file can incorporate/include another more generic default config, or 3) the --config file options override an environment specified .wgetrc, that would be nice. I'm already organizing my site specific wgetrc's in sections like this - one section for my generic defaults, and one for site specific options.I'm interested in seeing a "--config" option created, which Julien has expressed an interest in implementing. #inclusion of config files could be useful too
I always like more power like this (even at the expense of complexity), but I must say, I haven't needed it..you can specify that Wget only accept things that match FOO _and_ don't match BAR, but you can't specify things that match FOO _or_ don't match BAR.
That would be a very welcome addition (more valuable to me than the others), and it would meet all the needs I've encountered. The easiest way to do query strings, for this point in time, might be a flag to toggle inclusion of the query string in matches
