[WinPcap-users] WinPcap timestamp accuracy

Hi,
I am using Ethereal, which uses WinPcap, to measure the inter-frame gap on
frames that I am transmitting/receiving. I really need to know how accurate
the WinPcap timestamps are. Where are they taken? Are there any general
guidlines for the jitter between them and arrival at the NIC?

I would really appreciate any advice.
