WWWOFFLE is not very popular on Win32, for two reasons, it doesn't run
well on Win95 and people don't know about it.

If you get WWWOFFLE to work properly on Win95 then you are doing very
well. I can get it partially working on the original Win95 and harldy
at all on Win95 OSR2. This is explained on the WWWOFFLE Win32 web-page.

This is an interesting error message, it is not possible to own
sockets. The error message that is printed is the text string that
represents the error number. Perhaps the string is not a good
description of the actual error.

Can you access the WWWOFFLE built-in web server when you are in
offline mode? For example http://localhost:8080/Welcome.html.

I think that the problem could be another problem with the Microsoft
winsock library like the problems that I had with Win95 (as listed on
the web-page).

Due to the problems in Microsoft's Winsock library there is nothing
that I can do to get WWWOFFLE to run on Win32, I don't have the
knowledge that is needed. I am told that it runs OK on Win98, Win NT4
and W2000, if this is the case it looks as if you may need to upgrade
to get WWWOFFLE to work.
