OK! Steve, thanks for the pointer; exactly what I was looking for. So, I'll look at integrating support for that into Xastir directly and/or writing a quick and dirty 'translator' to create an APRS weather string out of it. The Xastir integration will take a bit, because I'll have to get into the code that selects interfaces, which I haven't really looked at, yet. The translator SHOULD be fairly easy, then one could just feed the APRS string to Xastir ala the other daemons. There might also be some value in an APRS=>WXNOW translator.
Curt - any suggestions here? I'm thinking of another interface at this point. I'll also have to figure out if I want to try to read a file or a socket.
