don't feel bad about not getting it to work! After several attempts I 
still haven't got it to work. In the end I gave up and used an old Tiny2 
tnc!

Both attempts have got to the same stage as you, seems it's a pretty 
common problem as the documentation is "thin" to say the least.

BTW, I'd be happy to do some documentation If I could just get it to 
work!!!!
