Hello, RFM vs RTFM. I try to keep to TLA (three letter acronyms), and yes, I know it's not, strictly speaking, an acronym. Ta for info. >maybe related to this, why does this >version ignore the "Move mail to received folder if read"? Not "version", but set-up on this account, all other set-ups on other accounts, e.g. this one, work fine in this respect. But further experiments have found other things. I have need to play around with this because of the remote SMTP that I am forced to use! For example, <ctrl><K> when SMTP after POP3 is ticked brings up a (blank) spool status window, but nothing happens (no mail transferred). But <ctrl><L> works fine in first checking mail, then sending new mail. There was mail in the spool at the time. I've also had a non-repeatable problem of SMTP refusing to send email, even though I had already POP3 collected. Next attempt was OK. Addressbook. Still would love to find a way that two or more accounts can share a common addressbook(s). Regards, David Pilgram.
