Hello, So what about this: Private addressbook, as now. Optional Common addressbook, whose location you specify (be it another file, or on a server, to ftp or whatever, so you can share between remote locations). I'm not sure the automatic addressbook is needed if you (optionally!) select that any new address brings up a pop-up window - of the addressbook - so that you can either accept, mark as variant to another, or reject. If you don't select this, you can still add addresses to the addressbook in the manual way as before. My automatic addressbook does seem to fill up with some junk at times. Does this cover all the possible desires of others? It keeps it simple for one-person users, common addressbook on one computer, or your remote requirement. Regards, David Pilgram.
