Ok, I had some time to check this in detail. Well, well, well ;-) However, if you cvs update your sorces you will find some changes that should really do the job now....... To make it short: the POP3 prefs for each server were read twice and a global flag which is set when a SMTP after POP3 server is found was set to TRUE in the first run. If this flag is set all later read prefs will get their flag removed - so only one POP3 server is contacted before SMTP. But because of this 2 reads the flag was always removed -> so no POP3 server was specified to contact before SMTP, but SMTP waited for a successfull authentication - but noone called...
