Do you have more than 1 POP3 server? Did you specifiy SMTP after POP3 for 
the correct one? Maybe your POP3 server needs the POP3 connection to be 
closed before SMTP may start - at the moment XCmail starts sending mail 
after user authentication so before sending "quit".

POP3 accepted the password or you would get a message box telling you about 
this.

No idea.....
