Hi,

It is probably compiled with a different compiler. Recompile Xclasses.
well, I can't compile those either.... it looks like I have a strange compiler here...

After making "./build config" the Rules files has a wrong formatted line 20. I believe the DCCVERSION parameter is quite wrong. I tried to shorten it to 3.2, but this does not help. I attached the generated Rules file. May be some one knows what's going on here...

BTW: I have a RH8.0 pretty newly updated from 6.1. Right now I have XClasses1.3.1 installed. I believe they came with an RPM. However, trying to run XC-Mail glibc binary 2.2 I get the following message:

./xc-mail: error while loading shared libraries: libg++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Well, now I tried the libc5 version (which is also installed here), and I get:
./xc-mail: can't load library 'libXclasses.so.1'

even though this library is in /usr/local/lib which is in /etc/ld.so.conf....

I can't see any reason for this....

Thanks again for any help!!

Daniel

PS: I have a running XC-Mail 1.2 here, but the buttons don't work in this.... I can't see a reason for this as well... *hmpf*
