Because I (the offical maintainer) am:
1) sick, I've got RSI a computer work related mussle and joint injury,
and I've put xmame on engeneering hold untill I'm confident it is safe
for me to continue working on it, without doing any permanent damage to
my mussles / joints.

2) I'm just plain busy with moving, 2 jobs etc.
