stun runner on svgalib target lockups

Well, it seems the X11 target works just fine, but when I try and run stun
runner using xmame.svgalib, my machine locks up TIGHT. Since I know there's
work going on in the 68k department and stun runner has a 68010/8, I thought
it might be that, but that wouldn't very well explain why the other target
works. I haven't tried xfx or anything, although I can if it'll be of any
help.

x86 Slackware Linux (compiling works on this machine now =-] )
mame 0.37b10-[first]unofficial
gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)
