Hi mates, thanks so much for your help, and abouve all, your patience.
You all are so nice dudes.
Just a little thing...Where should I place the roms? (It tries to detect the 
default games)
I tried "romcmp" but it cannot execute it...perhaps I should know the 
folder, right?

There is a executable file "xmame.SDL" in your source directory
now.Copy it to /usr/local/bin.

This time everything went OK until the "make display". The last thing, 
"make
install" didn't
work. Let me type what appeared to me, so you could please think of
something:

Installing binaries under /usr/local/bin...
/usr/bin/install -d -o root -g bin -m  755 /usr/local/bin
/usr/bin/install -c -o root -g bin -m  555 xmame.x11 /usr/local/bin
/usr/bin/install: cannot stat `xmame.x11': No such file or directory

"Make display..." showed no problems, but it seems something is not going
well...????
If possible, could you try to think something?
