any one knows the system requirements for xmame106? how many video memory it's required? 3d system is required? and the processor, can it be a 500ghz celeron?
Hopefully you meant mhz not ghz, otherwise can I borrow your time machine for a little while?
Can you tell us which games you intend to play with xmame? Then we'll have a better idea of a reasonable system for playing them.
I will not hesitate to say that 3D is not required at all. As long as your computer can run in the resolution of the game in 24 or 32 bit color, your graphics card is sufficient, though a graphics card that is good and/or fast with 2D can significantly speed things up. If your card has Xv support, that can also help.
