My development embedded board is based on EP9312 (cirrus logic). I succeeded to build and install SDL, zlib, expat library and finally xmame. However, it doesn't work correctly.
Your real problem:
Out of Memory: Killed process 1003 (xmame.SDL). Killed
Not your real problem:
first of all, the warning says I have to have a correct bufsize for fragsize/numfrags. However, it doesn't make sense to me what I have to change something. It seems to be a bit related to sound chipset. Let me tell you that I've got AC97' sound chipset on embedded board. I just enabled audio, alsa, oss, but disabled esd, nas, diskaudio, dummyaudio, mintaudio during SDL library configuration.
So, to reiterate, you don't have enough RAM. How much do you have? 32M? When running SF2, my binary wants at least ~50M. Can you add more?
