Don't modify the makefile.

Just do:
make -f makefile.unix DISPLAY_METHOD=SDL

Everything is OK.

The only thing you need to do is that make sure sdl-config in
installed in your machine.

In my opinion, this problem caused by SDL library...
After, I install SDL library in /usr/sdl(--prefix=/usr/sdl), i modify Xmame
Makefile about sdl-config
(SDL-CONFIG=sdl-config ->
SDL-CONFIG=/usr/sdl/bin/sdl-config)
But, error message continue~~
If you know wht i face to this problem, tell me!!
