My goal is to make a system that upon completion will have no mouse or keyboard connected to it. A network card and connection is acceptable for any unforeseen maintenance and/or software upgrades.
In order to accomplish this I need some guidance and as such I've turned here.
Off hand I know the initial questions I have are: 1) what linux distro is recommended? (eg Fedora, Ubuntu, Slackware etc)2) how is an autologin with X accomplished, and starting up an xmame front end
3) how is a safe shutdown accomplished without corrupting the disk? 4) is the P-III I described sufficient to run (almost) everything? 5) xmame front ends - what's a logical choice to handle this? 6) any other gotcha's or suggestions? a previously posted Howto? Thanks! Jeff _______________________________________________ Xmame mailing list Xmame@toybox.twisted.org.uk http://toybox.twisted.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/xmame
