Nosotros, el equipo de Yoper, estamos orgusos de anunciar la disponibilidad de
Yoper 3.1 en modo testing para el público.
Esta versión incluye el Kernel 2.6.23, Xorg 7.3 y KDE 3.5.9 como opción de
escritorio predeterminada, aunque KDE 4.0.3 también está disponible en nuestros
repositorios. Otras applicaciones como KOffice 1.6.3, Firefox 2.0.0.14, así
como un enorme abanico de aplicaciones de última generación también están
disponibles. Por supuesto, hay otros escritorios como Fluxbox y XFCE listos
para instalar en nuestros repositorios.
Como notorás, hay un montón de mejoras de rendimiento incluídas de serie en
esta release. Entre las mejoras de usabilidad se encuentra la inclusión de
elementos de seguridad de Ark Linux bajo el concepto de kappabilities (
