Never talked about quota within quota: Mulayam New Delhi, Mar 12 : Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav gas reportedly denied that his party has demanded a separate quota for Dalits within the Women's Reservation Bill. "I never talked about quota within quota. It's a rumour," Singh told IBN7. "All I mean is that it should be up to the party to give 20 per cent tickets to female candidates failing which the party's registration should be cancelled," he added. Singh further said that his party is 'very much' in favour of the Bill. "We are in favour of Women's Reservation but we want only 20 per cent reservation and that too it should be left to the party," Singh said. Earlier, the Yadav trio-Mulayam Singh Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad and Janata Dal (United) JD(U) President Sharad Yadav-had demanded separate quota for Dalit, Other Backward Castes (OBC) and Muslim women within the Bill. --IBNS
