Use notes for poor, not garlands: Ramdev to Maya New Delhi, Mar 16 : Slamming Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati for wearing garland made of thousands of thousand rupee notes at her rally, yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Tuesday said the money should have been used for betterment of Dalits and poor. "Mayawati calls herself Dalit Queen. And look at her! She wears multi-crore garland at her party rally," Ramdev told reporters here. "The country's wealth should be used for betterment of Dalits and poor, and should not to be used as garlands to decorate the neck," he added. Meanwhile, the same day (Tuesday), Ramdev launched his own political party 'Bharat Swabhimaan' and said his candidates will contest all seats in the next Lok Sabha elections. Ramdev said he wants to 'cleanse' the system and hence forayed into politics. On Monday evening, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati raised her narcissism to a new level by wearing a garland made of thousands of thousand-rupee notes at a mega rally in Lucknow. The rally, held on the birth anniversary of BSP founder Kanshiram, was organized to mark 25 years of the party. According to BSP activists, Maya's garland was worth 'quite a few lakhs'. --IBNS
