<< For scanning I'm still using my old Q840av. Since I bought a Scanmaker III I'm having a bit of annoyance with the drivers of that thing: After every scan using the ScanWizard Photoshop Plug-Ins (I tried the 68k-versions 3.0.7, 3.1.2 and 3.24) the scan module quits and starts again. I'm selecting the ScanWizard driver in the File-menu under Import and the option Retain scan module is on. When I'm using the TWAIN driver which uses the ScanWizard Plug-In the option Retain scan module is greyed-out and again I have to restart Scan Wizard after every scan. >> ---------------------------------------------- I have the original disks for ScanWizard 3.02b that came with the IIHR. Two excerpts from the READ ME/FAQ's states: "The ScanWizard plug-in is now available in either a 68K or a PowerPC version. ScanWizard PPC has significantly improved overall performance. The PowerPC version of ScanWizard will not run on a 68K based Mac. The 68K version of ScanWizard will run on a Power Mac, but will be slower because it is running in emulation." And "ScanWizard Release Notes: 1. ScanWizard Plug-in now supports SM-III, SM-IISP, SM-IIHR, SM-II/IIXE, and SM 35T." I can send the full "READ ME/FAQ" file if you like (8k in .sit format) or disk images of the 2 - 302.b floppy's. Let me know off list as I'm in digest mode.
