My reason is LocalTalk. My IIci with IPNetRouter serves not only my ethernet, but it also serves out the Internet via LocalTalk to all the phone jacks in the house. Speedwise it's only as fast as DSL, but it sure beats rewiring the house with cat 5 cable ann RJ45 jacks.
