Dave, the biggest difference is the NuBus System Bus speed. The 80av's NuBus slots run
3-4 times faster than the 66's. If you use any sort of video acceleration, or capture
cards (video or audio), you will see a big difference indeed. Kirk.

Subject: 7100/80 AV vs 7100/66

I have a fully decked out 7100/66 with G3 266. I am wondering what the
benefits of going to a 7100/80 AV would be. I know that the processor and
bus speed are faster but would I notice a big difference? Also, I am going
to upgrade my system to a G4 laptop in about two years. Would it still be
worth it?

I have been seriously thinking about it but don1t want to waste money.

Thanks for you help!

Dave
