Supermac Thunder/24 ......... Card used was a standard pre-PPC Thunder/24 into which had been installed the PPC upgrade ROM, Ver. 3.1. Under ASP, the card will read as Ver. 3.1.0. This was my Q650's card which became redundant after I upgraded from MacOS 7.1 on the Q to MacOS 8.1 on a G3/266 MT (since replaced by Apple with a G3/300 MT and MacOS 8.5.1, on account of the /266 being "unrepairable" after three service calls). Control strip settings: Millions of Colors, and 1152 x 870. Available "on the fly" resolutions: 640 x 480, 821 x 624, 1024 x 768, 1152 x 870 and 4096 x 1536. Supermac SuperVideo Ver. 3.1 control panel was set to Radius PrecisionColor 20" monitor, although the montor itself was a generic 21", which was capable of much, much higher resolution. The limitation is obviously in the Thunder/24. -- 1st-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
