sorry i don't have a source handy, but you can probably use an usb to serial (rs232, 
usb
also being serial..) adapter on a usb camera to connect to an rs-232 ports or with a
suitable cable to mac serial ports (which are actually the differential version of 
rs232
but can be used for rs232 as well).   griffin technology would be a place to check.
