Message deletion is a multi-step process in Outlook.  Part one involves
deleting already read messages from the inbox. Part two is deleting messages
in the Deleted Items folder. Part three is deleting Sent Messages.

Maybe Drafts folder, too if you have one or so messages waiting to be sent,
or that you've chosen to send later.
