Re: Serial Port Busy

I am using a 7100/66 with a Newer Tech , G3 Upgrade. Right now I only 
have a Dummies fro 8, so  I have gone through it with a fine tooth 
comb and turned everything off in the extension and control panels 
that may have anything to do with a serial port.  At this time, it is 
doing it every time, and switches randomly from one error dialogue 
box to the other: "Out of Memory," "serial port busy."  I haven''t 
reset the pram, so I will do that in a bit.

The last time, I threatened to switch with 7100/80 and I am resigned 
doing that.  Head ache, but it is easy enough to do with most people. 
Me, it is a killer. Bending over, etc.  But, ... it is time to do it 
anyway. I am sick of the printing problems and will probably just 
switch them this after name. I have 88 megs of memory and a 4 gig 
hard drive.  I think I will reinstall 8.6 update and see if that will 
have. Being retired, I have nothing but inside time.
