Serial port is currently in use by another application An item on Apple's
Discussion Forums reminds us to go to the AppleTalk control panel and either
turn AppleTalk off (under Options, in Advanced User Mode), or set it to a
different port (away from the printer port), when we get the serial port
busy message. Somehow, AppleTalk has been turned on, and it is set to the
printer port, which will block a serial printer. This was in response to a
query from a user with a Color StyleWriter 2400 and a Performa 578.
