The thread is a number of months old, but I was swapping a drive of 500MB
out, yesterday, and I put in a drive of 1.2Gigs in it that had a Universal
Install of OS 9.0.

I'd tried to remember how my 6116 with a NewerTech G3 was able to use OS9
after reading the troubles of a lister trying to do this as well.

It seems the 6100 Nubus Mac like OS9 just fine, if it's installed on the
hard drive in another machine first.

The part about it being a universal install also matters. But this new non-
accelerated Mac works good with 9.

However, it's about to become a Yellow Dog Linux Mac.....
