They (WaMCom - Web and Mail Communicator) are maintaining a "more stable and more correct" version of Mozilla, currently based on the 1.31 code. And there's a download for Mac OS 8.6 - 9.x. It's the best version of Mozilla I've used.
I'm using it now for this email. I tried the browser and it is noticeably faster than IE 5 at rendering most web pages. And it seems to be more stable than any previous version of Mozilla (or the Netscape variant) that I've tried. IE still launches faster than this Mozilla, but the difference is not so big as before.
It runs quite well on my G3-upgraded 8100. Stock Nubus PowerMacs will probably not run it too well though. It's also a bit of a RAM hog compared to IE. But I think it's a great alternative to the IE/OE combo I've been using for years.
