I finally got the 8150 / G3 running 9.0.4 stable. The performance boost is great . My specs are 8150 G3 300 1mb bsc 264mb ram 2 x 2gb scsi hdd. This little puppy is now my main desktop and stays on all day and it is fast. When I was having trouble with the OS I was tempted to go back to my 6400/180 136 ram 20gb hdd. But I deceided to stay with the G3 and I use the 6400 as a server for extra disk space connected with an ethernet card. The system is perfect for what I need and has plenty of space and speed so I can wait and save for a new powerbook.
