Help!
Confidence buoyed after restoring a beige G3 to glory and 10.2.8, I tackled an
inherited 7100/80. It was sporadically mounting the CD-Rom. Then, while trying to
install OS9 clean (nuke and pave)the machine decided to quit seeing the Cd-ROM
entirewly. I can boot up off a floppy with DiskTools, but it refuses to boot off a CD
so that I can install an OS on the HD. I know, I know, I shoulda just done archive
and install, but now the cat's out of the barn. Any thoughts would be welcome. P.S.
Tried zapping PRAM, no luck.
