I react based on what I would do. I'd pull the memory, pull the cache if any, pull any other slotted thingy and the cables to the floppy and hard drive as well as the power cable to the hard drive. I'd look into the slots those card-thingies were plugged. Any damage? Take a magnifying glass to the mother board. Any cracks or other signs of damage? I'd check the memory and cache teeth for damage. Then, reinstall RAM. Reinstall the Cache. Does it have a "cuda" button? with the power off, push it and hold it for ten seconds. Fire the Mac up. Does the monitor's power light work? Is it an "off-on-power-down, green-on-power-up" type? If no change is there an on-board video? Or are you using a card? Watch to see if a question mark appears on the desktop, if it gets that far. Jeff -- 1st-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
