Apple's "quality control" on those models were much less than 
precision.  There is a 5200 check program that you can find and run 
to see if that machine has been fixed, so it will not lose its colors 
and a bunch of other bad stuff, like quick blackouts.  Before you do 
anything with it, down load the program called, I think, 52XX check 
or something.
