I'm setting this thing up for someone else, and they got it used somewhere else. It came with an ethernet card, which has as "Sonic-T" chip on it, says "Ethernet CS Twisted Pair Card" on it, and the number 820-0607-A.
Before wiping the hard drive, I plugged this thing into my network, and it didn't pick up an IP. The green light on the card was on, as it was on my router, but no IP, despite having it set to use DHCP on the ethernet card.
After wiping the hard drive and installing Mac OS 8, it's still the same. There is nothing wrong with my network, as plugging the same cable from the same port of my router into another computer works fine.
Is there something different I have to do for this card? Does it require drivers? (seeing it was made by Apple, I assumed the OS would've supported it by default)
