Hi Stacey

Sorry if I'm late on this. The 5200/75 is indeed a Road Apple. However, it is a very good candidate for a logic board transplant. Look for a 5500/6500 board which will slot right into your case. Stay away from 5400/6400 boards which are inferior as far as graphics go. The downside is that you'll have to get hold of 5v, 168 pin RAM, which might be the killer. I have an original 5400, upgraded with a 5500/6500 board and a Sonnet G3 card. The one-slot riser happily allows the addition of a USB card. Not sure what screen resolution you may end up with. My machine happily runs 9.2.2, via OS 9 helper, maxed out at 128MB. Mind you, it also has a 6 GB hard drive, easily come by on eBay, and perhaps even bigger. Would suggest you really don't want anything faster than 5400 rpm.

I've carried out this upgrade before with LC 630s and 6200s - only difference being the internal, as opposed to the external screen. Let me know if you need any further information.

Regards

David
