Hi, Thanks all. Scsi probe or disk utility will not see the drive. I tried termination with the 535 but it didn't seem to make a difference. I will have to try it with the 6100. I will also try the ID number but I don't think that is the problem. It is set to ID 2. Isn't the CD set to ID3 by default ? and it is the external device on the 6100. Thanks to all that answered. I will let you know.
