I asked this question on another list, but so far have not gotton an absolute answer...so I'll try here. What I have is an old Q950 running a 100 mhz ppc card in it. I'm creating a new Mac web site and I'd like to be able to use Claris Emailer (1.1v3) pull email from that web address. My tentative understanding is that maybe its not doable on an old Quad, but I didn't stop to think about the ppc card in it so thus the question being posed here. Is it possible to download mail from a .com address with Claris Emailer? Can anyone assist me in how that is done? Further info... I believe the site is running a program perhaps called 'Mailman' as I recall The email stuff on the web site is working fine because I can use an earthlink mail to send back and forth to the web addys fine, but I cannot directly take my mail off the site with Claris Emailer without going through the earthlink email address. Irrelevant background stuff: I run more than one copy of the emailer on my machine to dedicate to addresses independently and keep business separated from personal mails...so I don't mind having multiple copies of the emailer running.
