    Upon hooking it upt to the SCSI chain externally I found
    that it was recognized by SCSI probe once I worked out a
    unique SCSI ID for it and set the termination jumper
    appropriately.

Can anyone claim that the 6100 *prefers* any particular SCS� address for
the internal CD drive, maybe "3"?

Which address is your drive set at, Bruce?
