I'm considering a NewerTech PDS G3 board for a P6116 here in the office. It
currently runs OS 9.1 with 72 MB RAM (physical) and RamDoubler to 144 MB.

Right now it kind of plods along. Will the G3 work/be compatible with OS 9.1?
Do you agree that adding additional RAM (I'm considering 2 72 MB SIMMs) would
help with the speed, too?

Your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

If your 6116 is stock, then yes, the upgrade, along with more RAM, will speed it up immensely!

You can even throw certain 128MB RAM sticks in those machines.
