Thanks to all who have tried to help me with this problem. So far, I am
still dead in the water. I have:

run the printer self test successfully
made sure the ribbon is good
checked the DIP switches to make sure they're set right
checked whether or not it is an appletalk setting
made sure the cables are good
made sure the cover is closed
selected "Imagewriter" in the chooser
checked to make sure the correct port is selected
checked 'page setup' to make sure the printer is correct
made sure the "Select" light is on on the printer

I installed an HP printer on this same computer, and was able to successfully
print with it. Now, when I select the imagewriter and choose print, the
screen tells me it's printing...the printer sits silently.

Is there software I am missing, maybe? Or is there a preference or command
that I have somehow overlooked? I'd REALLY like to solve this, since I have 4
imagewriters and would like them to work! :)

Thanks in advance!
Peggy Gould
