Any ideas? I have tried copying the printer related files and drivers from the "good" powerbook to the Performa, but that made no difference. The Powerbook has no trouble printing. The same file that takes a half hour or more on the Performa takes a minute on the powerbook. --
i would check for latest driver from apple. also ddid you do setup and make sure performa sees memory on printer? also allocate more system ram. charles lenington
Just a WAG but try zapping the PRAM (Command-Option-P-R at boot). Some AppleTalk settings are stored there and clearing them out MAY help.
