Unless they have some sort of hack to only let you use one MAC address (and even then you can generally get around this) you can just plug a router into your modem and go to town.
A router will only appear as a single computer from the outside, with a single MAC address. (Routers generally assign their own IP addresses via DHCP for the internal network, which have nothing to do with the IP addresses in the outside world.) The other main benefit for a router is that they often come with a NAT firewall, providing some protection from outside attacks, even if you only have a single computer hooked up to it.
The trouble is getting an Ethernet card for the Performa machines. I've looked around for one for my 6200 (so I could get a faster connection between it and my laptop than the LocalTalk-to-Ethernet bridge I have currently ;), but they're quite expensive.
