Hello All,

I was just given a Performa 6116CD. It was about to be tossed, even
though it's in immaculate condition. I just couldn't bear to see it
trashed.

Anyhow, I'm completely lost. The machine doesn't have Stuffit or a
Browser, and I've no idea how to decode a .hqx or .bin file. The machine
is running 7.6.1, and I can read DOS formatted floppy disks on it. It has
TCP/IP, but it doesn't seem to work, I can't ping from anywhere else.

I've a Solaris machine, Windows *shudder* machine, and an Amiga 4000 to
work with. I also have an old Mac Colour Classic that has StuffIt version
1 or something like that.

Nothing really helpful has come up on my googlings.

Could someone please point this aging unix weenie in the right direction.

Thanks a million,

His Lordship, Clark Frazier Hale I
