I rescued a 6118CD. I put a Newer MaxPowr card in it that runs at 210Mhz.

I like it, but can't find anyone who agrees that they're popular when
accelerated. 

I put O.S. 8.1 on it. Maybe you should do that with yours? This'll put in,
if you choose "clean install", all the missing pieces for internetting once
you find a good external modem or internal Ethercard.
