Thanks for the response.

I've all the proper cables for ethernet, I've the computer connected up to 
my hub, yet it still won't work.  I tried setting the IP manually, RARP, 
and DHCP.  Both my RARPd and DHCP servers work fine.

I see the Control Panel for TCP/IP.  Is there any tool check the status of 
the link?

I had downloaded StuffIT but most of the files were either in hqx or bin 
encoded, and I couldn't find anyway of decoding them.  _BUT_, I looked 
again today, and found one that was a .sea, which I discovered was 
supposed to be self extracting.

So, I put that on a CD, and copied it to MacintoshHD, but it won't open 
up, and I can't find a resource editor, or anything like that.  It keeps 
asking me which program I'd like to open it with.

*sigh*, perhaps I'll have better luck to-morrow.
