Typestyler 1.5 vs OS 8.6

Just discovered my old version doesn't behave with 8.6.  "This 
version of Typestyler in intended for use with the North American 
version of the Macintosh Operating System.  Please contact 
Borderbund."  What gives?  How far back in OS do I have to go?
