I was given the 'guts' today of what was supposed to be a G3 desktop. Once
I got to look at it a bit, I suspected it might not be...it looked a lot
like the 630 I used to have in the way the metal case went together. It had
only the cd drive, so I hooked up an extra ide hard drive with 7.6.1 and got
it to boot. System Profiler says its a 6200/6300 family mac with 100 mghz
603e and 32 meg ram. Any way of telling what model it is in more detail?
Would system profiler from OS 9 tell more? or some other program? Thanks.
