right, there are "straight through cables", which are normally used between computers 
and
the hub or router, and crossover cables that switch the wire order for directly 
connecting
2 machines together or connecting a modem to a hub/router/switch.  sorry i don't know 
much
about airport, but doubtless someone on the list will.  you might do a google search 
for
"three macs and a printer", it's a web site that explains a lot about networking but 
the
url has changed since i last used it.  you may also have to do some setup in the 
netgear
router, also, between the netgear router and the airport router you'll probably need
another cross over cable (straight cables between computers and routers, crossover 
cables
any time one router is connected to another router or modem, crossover cables can also 
be
used to directly connect 2 computers without a hub).  i know there are several good 
sites
out there that explain networking, including those of many router companies.  it does 
make
more sense with pictures.
