I just reassembled a 7100 because of an opportunity for testing a Sonnet
Card in it.

To take it apart, I took off the top. Unscrewed the set of 2 screws up front
on the drive assembly cage. With the  power plug removed, you can remove the
power supply. Remove the plastic slider that holds down the power supply.
Then slightly swing up the cage that has the floppy and hard drives. It'll
pull up the power supply with it.

lift the drive and power cables off the mother board that go to the floppy
and hard disk. When you lift the cage high enough, the hook in the rear will
come free of the back of the computer casing. You can then set the drive
cage off to one side and begin to get at that RAM.
